My tip for scanning single crowns: While waiting for anesthesia, Scan the upper and lower quadrants and record the bite. Then i delete the tooth to be scanned. Medit and cad-ray were great- they sent a new scanner within the week and haven't had any problems since. Customer service has been spot on.
